What is a pen drive ?
Pen Drive is a data storage device that includes flash memory with an integrated USB interface. It is typically removable, rewritable and much smaller than and Optical Disc. Most weight less than 30 g (1 oz). Since first appearing in the market in late 2000, as with virtually all other computer devices, storage capacities have risen while prices have dropped.
What is a RAM ?
RAM (Random Access Memory) is the internal memory of the CPU for storing data, program, and program result. It is a read/write memory which stores data until the machine is working. As soon as the machine is switched off, data is erased. Access time in RAM is independent of the address, that is, each storage location inside the memory is as easy to reach as other locations and takes the same amount of time. Data in the RAM can be accessed randomly but it is very expensive.
To use your pendrive a RAM, insert your pendrive in your laptop or your desktop computer. Open file explorer and open This PC. Do a right click on your pendrive and go to properties and open the ReadyBoost menu and the properties window will disappear, again do a right click on your pendrive and go to ReadyBoost manu and this time it will ask you to enter the size of the ram that you wan't to create. Enter the size and click on apply, when you will close the properties window then you will see that your pendrive has taken that much size that you entered in the properties window and when you will open your pendrive you will see a icon of ReadyBoost. Now, your pendrive has become a RAM.
